A few days in Marrakech and a longer journey between cities need different amounts of data. Morocco also deserves a careful coverage check: being in North Africa does not mean it is included in every Middle East and North Africa eSIM.

Horizon costs less for the listed 5 GB and 10 GB packages. Nomad costs less at 20 GB. At 10 GB, Horizon is €7.01 below Nomad (€18.30 − €11.29). At 20 GB, Nomad is €0.62 below Horizon (€22.40 − €21.78). There is no single price winner across all three allowances.
Choose the allowance for your stay
For a city break, maps, messages and restaurant searches may use less than frequent video uploads or hotspot work. Review your own usage rather than assuming a daily amount. Horizon's checked 5 GB / 7-day package also costs €5.74, so the same-price 30-day package leaves more time to use that pool. Airalo's 5 GB / 7-day price was €18.00.
For a longer stay, compare the total amount you expect to need. Horizon 10 GB adds €5.55 to its 5 GB / 30-day price. If you already expect to need 20 GB, Nomad's €21.78 quote is the lower upfront price in this comparison. Horizon still includes instant support, but that does not change the arithmetic.
The Morocco data-sizing guide helps distinguish light navigation from video and laptop use. Save key reservations and maps offline before travel; neither a large allowance nor an unlimited label guarantees reception on a remote road.
Morocco is excluded from Horizon's current MENA package
Horizon's checked Middle East package includes Egypt, Israel, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and Turkey. It does not include Morocco. Do not purchase it for Marrakech or Casablanca based on the regional name.
Use the Morocco country plans for the Morocco part of your itinerary. For onward travel, price the actual combination of countries and compare it with a regional product that explicitly lists every stop. Unlimited and hotspot are separate decisions
Holafly's Morocco page lists 7 days of unlimited data at US$31.50 in its USD duration table. It specifies 1 GB per day for hotspot sharing and possible temporary network fair-use speed reductions. The different currency, validity and allowance mean we do not calculate a saving against the 30-day EUR packages.
Unlimited handset data may suit heavy phone use. Someone sharing data with a laptop should compare the hotspot allowance separately: Horizon's fixed pool can be shared, but all connected devices draw from that same total.
Hotspot and instant support
Horizon supports hotspot on every plan; your phone and connected devices share the purchased allowance. Airalo allows tethering where the device and network support it. Nomad supports sharing but notes that stability can depend on the device and local network. Saily's country page lists no hotspot restrictions.
Horizon includes instant support for installation, mobile-data settings and connection questions. Check device compatibility, make sure your phone is unlocked, and install with a stable internet connection before departure.
