India eSIM prices: Horizon, Airalo and Saily
These are country packages with 30 days of validity and a fixed total data allowance. Prices are the public EUR amounts displayed on each provider's official page, without currency conversion.
- Horizon: 5 GB / 30 days €5.58; 10 GB / 30 days €10.97; 20 GB / 30 days €21.75.
- Airalo: 5 GB / 30 days €12.50; 10 GB / 30 days €21.50; 20 GB / 30 days €34.00.
- Saily: 5 GB / 30 days €12.49; 10 GB / 30 days €21.49; 20 GB / 30 days €34.49.
Horizon had the lowest displayed price in these three matched comparisons. For 10 GB, Horizon was €10.53 less than Airalo and €10.52 less than Saily. That is a comparison of package prices, not a test of signal quality or speed.
Choose the allowance around your own use. Maps and messaging need a different budget from video streaming or sharing a laptop connection. All three providers above describe a total data pool for the validity period, not a fresh allowance each day. Compare unlimited products separately, including any hotspot and speed terms.

Horizon confirmed its switch to Jio for India on the same date. The customer's feedback is an example of a successful connection, while the network listing on our India page gives the current product information. For help with your route or setup, contact Horizon support.
Does it work across all of India?
An India country plan is intended for use within its listed Indian coverage area. A country label does not guarantee a signal at every address, on every train route or in every rural location. Reception depends on the supported network, your device, terrain, buildings and local conditions.
Check the places on your itinerary using Jio's official coverage map. Check your actual stops before travelling, especially rural accommodation and long road or rail journeys. Keep essential directions offline for stretches without reception.
Airalo's India page displayed Vi India during our check. Saily's India page described access through local networks without naming a specific operator in the details we reviewed. Neither is evidence that those packages use the same network as the customer's Horizon eSIM.
Hotspot, setup and support
Horizon includes free hotspot sharing on every plan. Connected devices use the same purchased data allowance. Saily also lists no hotspot restrictions on its India page. For any provider, check your device compatibility and the package instructions before travelling.
Before departure:
- Check that your phone is unlocked and supports eSIM.
- Install over a stable internet connection using the instructions supplied with your purchase.
- Check what starts the validity period, then select the travel eSIM for mobile data when instructed.
- Apply the required roaming and APN settings. Keep automatic switching to your home SIM off if you do not intend to use its data.
- Save your accommodation address, tickets and support details offline.

Which should you choose?
If you want a fixed data allowance for an India trip, Horizon is worth comparing on price: it cost less in each matched 30-day package above and includes hotspot sharing. Airalo and Saily are alternatives to compare for their current packages, network details and app features. The customer's positive Jio experience is encouraging, but choose on the terms of the plan available to you today.
