France eSIM comparison: a Paris week or longer stay
Popüler Fransa paketleri

For a week in Paris, the useful comparison is the price of enough data for directions, tickets and messages throughout the trip. For a longer stay, the same 30-day allowance may still fit if you use Wi-Fi for large transfers. Here is what four fixed-data providers displayed for matching 5 GB and 10 GB plans, followed by Holafly’s unlimited option.

Prices checked 19 September 2026. Horizon includes instant support; current prices and availability are on the linked plan pages.

Matched fixed-data prices

  • Horizon: 5 GB / 30 days €2.39; 10 GB / 30 days €4.61.
  • Nomad: 5 GB / 30 days €7.84; 10 GB / 30 days €12.20.
  • Airalo: 5 GB / 30 days €10.00; 10 GB / 30 days €15.50.
  • Saily: 5 GB / 30 days €9.99; 10 GB / 30 days €14.99.

Horizon has the lowest price among the fixed-data offers above for both allowances. At 10 GB / 30 days, it is €7.59 below Nomad, the next-lowest listed price, a 62.2% reduction. This is a comparison of the displayed package totals; it does not establish better signal or identical coverage.

A Paris week: keep the travel essentials available

Install over working Wi-Fi before departure, save your accommodation address and keep important tickets available offline. You can then choose mobile data for the parts of the day spent away from Wi-Fi: checking a platform, finding an entrance or arranging a pickup. A 30-day plan does not require a 30-day stay; you are buying an allowance with that expiry window.

Horizon’s 5 GB / 30-day plan is the smaller-budget choice in this comparison. Moving to 10 GB costs €2.22 more at the checked prices. Make that decision from your likely usage rather than buying the largest bundle by default. Video uploads, cloud photo sync and hotspot use are reasons to leave extra headroom.

Paris to Nice is different from Paris to London

Traveling between Paris, Lyon and Nice stays within one country. Crossing to the UK, Belgium or Switzerland adds another country to the coverage decision. Compare a regional Europe eSIM before buying separate country packages, especially if the trip has several borders.

A France label should not be read as worldwide French-territory coverage. For an overseas destination, check that destination explicitly in the product’s coverage list. Similarly, a ferry journey does not mean the terrestrial mobile network will reach the ship throughout the crossing.

Compare support and sharing alongside the price

Horizon’s instant support is useful when your phone has multiple SIM profiles and you need help choosing the correct data line. All Horizon plans support hotspot, so your traveling companion or laptop can use the same purchased allowance. There is no separate extra allowance created by turning hotspot on.

If you need ordinary calls to French numbers, do not assume a data-only eSIM includes them. Messaging and internet calling apps use the data allowance; a local phone number or carrier voice minutes require a product that explicitly includes those features. Price that separate requirement before choosing.

Choosing a plan for your itinerary

Choose 5 GB when your recent usage and available Wi-Fi make that pool comfortable. Choose 10 GB for more time away from Wi-Fi or more sharing. Check unlimited plans when your measured usage suggests that even a larger fixed pool will be restrictive, and read their tethering rules. For travel beyond France, the longer Europe comparison compares regional coverage and validity.

How Holafly’s unlimited option compares

Holafly’s France product page published a 7-day unlimited plan at US$27.50 in its USD duration table. That is a different allowance, duration and currency from the fixed 30-day EUR offers above, so we do not calculate a percentage saving against it. Check the selected currency and trip length before checkout.

The page specifies 1 GB per day for hotspot sharing, and says network fair-use measures can temporarily reduce speed. Unlimited handset data may suit heavy phone use; it does not mean unlimited tethering or the same speed in every situation. Horizon’s fixed plans support hotspot using the purchased data pool.

Instant support with your Horizon plan

Horizon includes instant support for setup and connection questions. Use Horizon support if you need help installing the eSIM, selecting it for mobile data or understanding the plan before you travel. Keep your order details handy so the team can help with the right purchase.

Before buying, check device compatibility and that your phone is unlocked. Install with a stable internet connection, follow the plan’s activation instructions, and review the live France plans for the current price and coverage.

How the prices were checked

This is a Horizon-authored comparison. Research date: 19 September 2026. Editorial owner: Lurian Kasumaj. Fixed-plan prices are public EUR quotes from the providers’ own product pages, with 5 GB or 10 GB total data and 30-day validity. Public sale prices are included where labelled. Account rewards, subscriptions, affiliate coupons and first-order discounts are excluded. Regional country lists can differ even when allowance and validity match.

Every provider name in the comparison links to its source. Holafly’s separately reported USD quote is left in its published currency, without an exchange-rate conversion. Prices can change after this check; the linked product page and checkout take precedence. This research compares published offers and features, not measured network performance or support response times.
