A low regional eSIM price is useful only if it includes your next stop. Mexico appears in every Latin America package compared here, but Guatemala, Panama and Belize do not. Those gaps can reverse the price order once you add the missing country.

Its checked Latin America 5 GB and 10 GB offers cost less than the fixed regional alternatives below, with a narrower country list. We show both the regional prices and a Mexico–Guatemala example where Airalo's broader bundle costs less than separate Horizon country purchases.
Fixed data for 30 days
These prices buy a total allowance shared across each provider's included destinations:
- Horizon Latin America: 5 GB €9.69; 10 GB €19.19.
- Airalo Latin America: 5 GB €20.00; 10 GB €32.50.
- Nomad Latin America: 5 GB €25.26; 10 GB €33.98.
- Saily Latin America: 5 GB €28.49; 10 GB €39.99.
Horizon is €10.31 lower at 5 GB and €13.31 lower at 10 GB than Airalo, the next-lowest checked fixed offer at each size. That comparison is useful for a route included in both products. It is not a saving for an itinerary that needs an uncovered country.
For more data, Horizon lists 20 GB / 30 days at €38.19; Airalo lists 20 GB / 30 days at €44.00 and Nomad 20 GB / 30 days at €56.63. Saily's checked regional list stops at 10 GB. The best allowance depends on actual use, not just price per gigabyte.
Which countries are included?
Horizon: Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, El Salvador, Mexico, Peru and Uruguay.
Airalo and Nomad: the Horizon destinations plus Bolivia, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay and Venezuela. Neither checked regional list includes Belize.
Saily: the Horizon destinations plus Bolivia and Paraguay. Its Latin America list excludes Belize, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua and Panama.
Holafly Latin America: the Horizon destinations plus Belize, Bolivia, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay and Puerto Rico. Venezuela is absent from that checked list. This is an unlimited-data product with different duration and hotspot terms, discussed below.
A Mexico–Colombia–Peru journey is within every listed product. A Mexico–Guatemala–Costa Rica journey needs a different comparison: Horizon and Saily leave Guatemala uncovered. For Mexico–Belize–Guatemala, Holafly's named package includes all three; the other quoted regional packages need a separate Belize solution. These are product-list checks, not promises about reception at every location.

Mexico plus Guatemala: the cheaper regional headline can lose
For an illustrative trip needing 5 GB in Mexico and 5 GB in Guatemala, two Horizon country purchases cost:
- Mexico 5 GB / 30 days: €9.86.
- Guatemala 5 GB / 30 days: €25.30.
- Total: €35.16, with two separate 5 GB allowances and expiry schedules.
Airalo's 10 GB / 30-day Latin America package costs €32.50 and includes both countries: €2.66 less than those country purchases. Nomad's quoted 10 GB regional offer also includes both and costs €33.98, or €1.18 less than the two-purchase total. Their regional allowances can be used unevenly between the included countries.
Buying Horizon Latin America 5 GB at €9.69 plus separate Guatemala 5 GB at €25.30 costs €34.99. That remains €2.49 above Airalo's shared 10 GB package. The Horizon regional allowance adds other named destinations, but Guatemala still has its own 5 GB pool; the extra purchase does not expand the regional pool's coverage.
For Mexico alone, compare actual country products in the Mexico provider comparison. Do not pay for extra destinations you will not visit. Conversely, do not buy a country plan expecting it to keep working after a border crossing.
Match the expiry to the trip, not the number of nights
Horizon offers 1 GB / 7 days at €2.09 and 3 GB / 30 days at €5.89. These are smaller total allowances, not daily allocations. The seven-day package may suit a short, light-use visit to included destinations; a longer itinerary needs sufficient validity even if little data is used.
The 30-day regional packages above share one expiry across the trip. Crossing into another included country does not create another 30 days or refill the data. Separate country purchases instead follow their own activation and expiry instructions. Write down arrival and departure dates and the approximate data needed at each stop before comparing totals.
Unlimited data and sharing
Holafly's official Latin America duration table lists 7 days of unlimited phone data at US$39.50, with 1 GB per day of hotspot sharing. Possible temporary operator fair-use speed reductions apply. The seven-day USD offer has a different allowance model and currency from the fixed 30-day EUR offers, so we keep it outside euro savings calculations.
Horizon includes free hotspot sharing from the purchased total without a separate daily hotspot cap. Airalo permits personal hotspot where device and network support it. Nomad supports tethering, with stability dependent on those conditions. Saily's regional technical details state no hotspot restrictions or limitations.
Include laptop uploads and a companion's usage in a fixed allowance. None of these published country lists establishes reception along every road, in the Amazon or at sea. Download maps and booking details for travel days and check the listed networks for the actual places you will visit.
