Horizon’s Balkans eSIM covers 11 countries, including Romania, Slovenia and Turkey. For a trip that stays within that list, the 10 GB / 30-day plan costs €11.68 and gives you one shared data allowance across the covered stops.

The 11 countries in the Horizon package
Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Greece, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Romania, Serbia, Slovenia and Turkey.
That country list makes the same package useful for several different routes: Slovenia through Croatia to the Montenegrin coast; Albania and North Macedonia with a Greek stop; or Romania and Bulgaria followed by Turkey. You do not have to buy a different regional allowance for each covered border crossing. The total data and validity remain those of the plan you choose.
A regional name is not a promise to cover every country in the region. Kosovo and Hungary are not included in this Horizon package. Check every overnight stop and transit country in the live coverage list before buying. Coverage within an included country still depends on local signal, terrain and your device.
Fixed-data prices beside Nomad
The plans below match the advertised data allowance and validity. The packages have different coverage: Nomad’s Balkans product lists 12 countries, including Hungary in addition to Horizon’s 11.

Horizon is lower-priced in each of these four matched plans. At 10 GB / 30 days, the difference is €21.91. Nomad’s additional Hungary coverage can matter more than that difference if your route includes Budapest, so compare the itinerary as well as the price.
Where Holafly’s Balkans offer differs
Holafly’s Balkans product lists five countries: Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, North Macedonia and Serbia. It sells unlimited data by trip duration and advertises a 1 GB-per-day hotspot allowance on that page. This is a different product from a fixed 10 GB allowance.
Horizon’s package also includes Bulgaria, Croatia, Greece, Romania, Slovenia and Turkey. Those extra covered stops are useful if your route continues beyond the five-country set. If you expect very heavy phone data use within Holafly’s listed countries, compare its duration-specific total and current usage terms before deciding. We do not compare a one-day teaser price with a 30-day fixed-data package.
Choosing an allowance for the trip
For a short stay, 1 GB / 7 days costs €1.33 and 3 GB / 15 days costs €3.49. The 30-day options offer 3, 5, 10 or 20 GB for a longer trip. Choose the data and validity around your expected use. Data is shared across the covered countries, without a daily reset; more validity does not mean more gigabytes.

Make the allowance work for the trip
Download maps over Wi-Fi, keep large photo backups off mobile data, and count any laptop or second-phone hotspot use within your allowance. Horizon’s fixed-data plans allow hotspot use on compatible devices, but sharing data does not create an extra allowance.
Install using the eSIM setup guide, check the selected plan’s activation conditions, and keep an offline copy of important addresses. These are data-only packages: calling and messaging apps use data, while a traditional phone number and SMS allowance are not included.
