A plan for Georgia does not automatically include Armenia, and a global eSIM can still omit Kyrgyzstan. For travel across the Caucasus and Central Asia, the useful comparison is the price of covering your actual stops, including any separate purchase needed to fill a gap.

We compare that focused regional product with checked Airalo, Nomad, Saily and Holafly global alternatives, while keeping their coverage and validity differences visible.
Start with the six-country checklist
These findings apply to the named products checked, not every product each provider sells:
- Horizon Caucasus: all six named countries included.
- Airalo Global, fixed data: Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan included; Kyrgyzstan absent from its checked Countries and Networks list.
- Nomad Global, selected standard global option: Armenia, Georgia and Kazakhstan included; Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan absent from the checked list.
- Saily Global: Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan included; Kyrgyzstan absent from the checked list.
- Holafly Global: all six named countries included in its purchased trip plan's coverage list.
Horizon does not include Tajikistan or Turkmenistan in this regional package. Holafly's checked Global list includes Tajikistan. A broad product name is not a substitute for checking a specific stop; a separate country product or another bundle may suit a shorter route better than the global alternatives shown here.

Fixed-data prices: preserve the validity differences
- Horizon Caucasus, 30 days: 5 GB €7.13; 10 GB €14.06.
- Nomad Global, 30 days: 5 GB €34.85; 10 GB €54.01. This quoted package does not cover three of Horizon's six listed destinations.
- Airalo Global: 5 GB / 60 days at €31.50; 10 GB / 180 days at €51.50. Both quoted fixed tiers require a separate solution for Kyrgyzstan.
- Saily Global: 5 GB / 60 days at €30.49; 10 GB / 180 days at €50.49. Its checked global coverage also leaves Kyrgyzstan out.
Horizon has the lower listed purchase prices for this regional use case, but the global products cover many places beyond the region and Airalo and Saily offer longer validity. We do not describe the difference as a saving on identical plans. A traveler continuing elsewhere for several months should price the whole journey before choosing.
For a longer trip within Horizon's named region, its catalog also lists 20 GB / 30 days at €27.96 and 50 GB / 180 days at €69.61. The larger package changes both data and duration; choose it for a real need rather than comparing only the price per gigabyte.
Adding Kyrgyzstan has its own allowance and cost
If you select Airalo's 5 GB / 60-day Global package at €31.50, adding Horizon Kyrgyzstan 5 GB / 30 days at €2.91 costs €34.41 in total. The equivalent combination with Saily's 5 GB / 60-day Global package at €30.49 costs €33.40.
Those combinations buy a 5 GB global allowance plus a separate 5 GB Kyrgyzstan allowance. They do not create a 10 GB global pool. The regional leg also expires sooner than the global purchase. Check installation, activation and which data line to use before planning a switch.
By comparison, Horizon Caucasus 10 GB / 30 days at €14.06 is one shared allowance across its six named countries. It fits a different calendar from a 60-day global package and does not cover onward countries outside that list. Horizon instant support can explain those boundaries before you buy.
For the checked Nomad Global option, buying a Kyrgyzstan plan alone would still leave Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan uncovered. Price all missing stops, or choose another product. We have not assumed that every Nomad regional or country option has the same coverage as this global package.
Georgia plus Uzbekistan: separate country plans can be cheaper
If those are your only two stops and you need 5 GB in each:
- Horizon Georgia 5 GB / 30 days: €3.42.
- Horizon Uzbekistan 5 GB / 30 days: €3.04.
- Total: €6.46, which is €7.60 less than Horizon's shared regional 10 GB / 30-day package.
The trade-off is allocation: 5 GB stays with Georgia and 5 GB with Uzbekistan. If your actual use becomes 8 GB in one and 2 GB in the other, that pair will not supply the split. A regional pool gives flexibility across included stops, while separate purchases can cost less when the country budgets are predictable.

Holafly Global: all six stops, different data model
Holafly's official Global duration table quotes 7 days of unlimited phone data at US$46.90. Its purchased trip plan includes the six countries above and permits 1 GB per day of hotspot sharing. Possible temporary operator fair-use speed reductions can apply. The purchased trip-plan coverage was checked separately from Holafly's Always On backup-data benefit.
This is a seven-day USD offer, so it is not ranked as an equivalent to a fixed 30-day EUR package. It may be relevant for heavy phone use on a short route that fits its country list and validity, but the phone's unlimited allowance does not mean unlimited laptop sharing.
Horizon permits free hotspot sharing from the purchased total without a separate daily hotspot cap. Nomad supports tethering subject to device and network conditions; Airalo permits it where both support it. Saily's Global technical details state no hotspot restrictions or limitations. Published country coverage is not proof of reception on a mountain road or in a particular building; keep essential maps and booking details offline.
