A dual-SIM phone can usually keep both profiles enabled, but the settings determine which line creates charges. Assign mobile data to the Singapore eSIM, disable mobile-data switching, and leave roaming off on the home SIM unless you deliberately need its roaming service. Calls and texts received or placed through the home number can still be billed by the home carrier. Use the same exact physical card or the same wallet on the same device to tap in and out, because mixing identifiers can create separate or missing trips. Current terms apply an admin fee to foreign-issued Mastercard and Visa cards, while the issuer may charge separately; check current terms. The Tourist Pass covers basic bus, MRT and LRT travel, not Sentosa Express, RWS8 or premium and niche services; Sentosa tickets and attractions remain separate.

Not from the Singapore label alone. Malaysia must be explicitly listed before a land crossing through Woodlands or Tuas, and Indonesia must be listed before a ferry toward Batam or Bintan. Check the exact country list for the selected product rather than assuming regional coverage. Reception may weaken, change network or stop near checkpoints, terminals and international waters, so download travel documents, the onward address and essential directions before departure.

In a safe public area of Changi Airport or at the hotel, use reliable Wi-Fi and keep the Singapore profile on the device. Open the order-specific guide, then verify the profile state, mobile-data line, APN, roaming and network-selection choices against it. Perform an airplane-mode cycle or restart only if the instructions request one. If the fault remains, record the phone model, terminal or neighbourhood, displayed network or error and the last successful step; provide support with those notes, the order reference and masked screenshots, never a password or full payment record. While waiting, use the saved Changi transfer, MRT route and accommodation address rather than repeatedly changing settings on a platform or during a Sentosa connection.
