Prices checked 6 October 2026. Horizon currently offers 3 GB / 15 days for €8.49 and 10 GB / 30 days for €18.19 in Kosovo. These are total allowances, not daily allocations. Earlier 5 GB, 20 GB and short-validity Kosovo offers quoted in this article have been replaced by these current options.
Choose the allowance and the expiry together
The smaller plan suits a visit of up to 15 days if 3 GB covers your expected use. Maps and messages use less data than video calls, large photo uploads or laptop sharing. Check recent consumption on your phone instead of treating a trip length as a data guarantee.
For a visit lasting more than 15 days, the 10 GB / 30-day plan covers a longer period with one allowance. It costs €9.70 more for 7 GB extra. Two smaller purchases cost €16.98 but provide only 6 GB in separate validity periods; they are not equivalent to 10 GB for 30 days. Do not assume automatic renewal or a top-up option for a particular profile.
When does validity begin?
The clock starts on the first connection to a supported network in Kosovo. Buying or installing does not start it, and there is no first-use deadline. Once activated, the purchased period expires even if data remains.
Budget for Kosovo plus another destination
Kosovo is excluded from Horizon’s current Europe, Balkans and Global bundles. The following purchases keep separate allowances and expiry dates:
| Purchase | Total |
|---|---|
| Albania 10 GB / 30 days (6.61 €) + Kosovo 3 GB / 15 days (8.49 €) | 15.10 € |
| Albania 10 GB / 30 days (6.61 €) + Kosovo 10 GB / 30 days (18.19 €) | 24.80 € |
| Balkans 10 GB / 30 days (11.68 €) + Kosovo 3 GB / 15 days (8.49 €) | 20.17 € |
| Balkans 10 GB / 30 days (11.68 €) + Kosovo 10 GB / 30 days (18.19 €) | 29.87 € |
These totals do not create one regional data pool. The Kosovo data works only in Kosovo. Choose the Albania combination for those two countries, or compare the Balkan combination when other countries named in its coverage list are on your route. Check every transit country too.
Network, setup and support
Horizon’s checked Kosovo catalogue lists IPKO Kosovo, supporting 4G/LTE and 5G. Reception depends on your phone, location and conditions; keep essential directions offline. Hotspot is free and shares your purchased allowance without a separate daily hotspot cap.
Check that your phone is unlocked and compatible, install over reliable Wi-Fi, then select the travel eSIM for mobile data. Follow its roaming instructions and disable data roaming on your home line if you do not want to use it. Horizon provides 24/7 human support in all languages, with guaranteed instant replies. Full refunds are available on request, used or unused, with no request deadline; purchase verification and duplicate-refund protection apply.
Compare providers before deciding
For current Airalo, Saily, Holafly and Kudo offers, see the dedicated Kosovo provider comparison. It separates matching 10 GB / 30-day offers from smaller allowances, larger packages and unavailable products.
