Which mobile networks does the Vietnam eSIM use?

Will I have coverage travelling the full length of the country?
If you are travelling from north to south, expect strong coverage in the cities and along busier routes. On long rural stretches between destinations the signal can be variable, so download maps and key information ahead of time for those quieter sections.
Will my data work on a boat trip out on the water?
On trips out onto the water, such as around Ha Long Bay, the signal can drop out once you are away from the shore. Plan for this by sending messages and downloading anything you need while you are still on land, then reconnect when you return to the coast.
