Horizon’s Caribbean eSIM combines 12 destinations, including Puerto Rico and Bahamas, in one fixed-data package. The 5 GB / 30-day plan costs €17.99, while 10 GB / 30 days costs €30.99. One allowance can cover several included stops without buying a separate regional package at each border.

The 12 destinations in the Horizon package
Antigua and Barbuda, Bahamas, Barbados, British Virgin Islands, Cayman Islands, Dominica, Jamaica, Puerto Rico, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, and Turks and Caicos Islands.
Puerto Rico matters for a trip beginning in San Juan before continuing to an included island. Bahamas and Jamaica are also included, so check this package for a journey combining those stops. Your data and validity are shared across the entire trip; changing islands does not reset either allowance.
Curaçao and the Dominican Republic are excluded from this new package. Dominica and the Dominican Republic are different destinations: Dominica remains included. If you bought an earlier Caribbean package, check its original coverage in My eSIMs; the new package's shorter country list does not remove destinations from that existing purchase.

Horizon costs less in each of the four matched Nomad tiers shown here. The difference is small for 5 GB and 10 GB, so the destinations on your route matter more than those savings. Against Airalo's matched thirty-day plans, Horizon saves €11.01 on 5 GB and €11.51 on 10 GB at the checked prices.
Coverage is different. Nomad lists 15 destinations and omits Puerto Rico from its displayed list; it includes Anguilla, Grenada and Montserrat, which this Horizon package does not cover. Airalo lists 26 destinations. More destinations can be useful for a different itinerary, even when the package costs more.
How Holafly's unlimited option differs
Holafly Caribbean lists 18 destinations and sells unlimited data by trip duration. Its page specifies a 1 GB daily hotspot allowance and explains that network fair-use restrictions can temporarily reduce speeds.
That is a different product from Horizon's fixed 5 GB or 10 GB allowance. Heavy on-device usage may favour an unlimited offer; lighter travellers can compare the total trip price with Horizon's fixed package. Horizon's package permits hotspot use within the purchased allowance. This article does not announce a Horizon unlimited Caribbean plan.
Connection and cruise coverage
Horizon uses the listed local partner networks. The reviewed network list includes BTC in Bahamas, Cable & Wireless partners across several islands, and two listed operator options in Puerto Rico. These are coverage facts, not proof that Horizon is faster or more reliable than a competitor. Signal, congestion, device compatibility and the network available at your location affect the connection.
A Caribbean land-network eSIM is useful in covered ports and on land. It does not provide a ship's Wi-Fi or a satellite connection at sea. Check each port against the destination list, and avoid enabling your home SIM's maritime roaming by accident.
Choosing between 5 GB and 10 GB
For a trip centred on maps, messaging and occasional browsing, compare the 5 GB plan first. Video, frequent photo uploads and hotspot use consume more data, making the 10 GB plan a useful alternative. Your usage determines which allowance is sufficient; neither amount guarantees a particular number of travel days.
