We have added ChatGPT to Horizon Green Zone alongside access to our website. The idea is simple: ask the question you need answered, then visit Horizon whenever you are ready for more travel data.
Free ChatGPT access, beyond your main data
ChatGPT already has a free plan. Horizon adds something useful for your trip: a connection to ChatGPT when your main eSIM data allowance is used up. Green Zone keeps selected services within reach, with Horizon covering that connection.
You use ChatGPT as usual, with your own account. There is no separate ChatGPT subscription from Horizon and no need to buy another ordinary data package just for a quick question when Green Zone access is available on your eSIM.

You are about to order, your host has sent a long message, or you need to explain that you are running late. A short text exchange with ChatGPT can help you work out what to say next.
Type the words you need help with and ask for a brief answer. For bookings, opening times and transport updates, confirm the details directly with the provider.

Ask your question without a detour for Wi-Fi
A zero data balance should not turn a small question into a search for Wi-Fi. Green Zone uses your Horizon eSIM’s mobile connection, so eligible travelers can keep ChatGPT within reach while they are out exploring.
Keep your Horizon eSIM switched on and selected for mobile data, with data roaming enabled. You still need mobile coverage. “No main data left” means Green Zone provides the connection; it does not mean ChatGPT works offline.
Make it a quick text question
A phrase to translate. A message to shorten. A sentence you want to get right. These are the moments Green Zone access to ChatGPT is designed for. Keep your question in text and ask for a concise answer.
Green Zone provides limited access to selected services. Use a regular data plan or Wi-Fi for heavier use, other apps and browsing links outside ChatGPT.

What does free ChatGPT access with Horizon mean?
Horizon covers the connection to ChatGPT within the Green Zone allowance. You can use ChatGPT’s own free plan; a paid Plus or Pro subscription is not included. OpenAI’s usage limits still apply.
Can I use ChatGPT with no main eSIM data left?
That is the benefit Green Zone is built for: keeping ChatGPT reachable when your main allowance is empty. You need an eligible Horizon eSIM, mobile coverage and remaining Green Zone access. See the rollout note above for current availability.
Does Green Zone include the rest of the internet?
Green Zone connects you to selected services. Other apps, websites and external links may need a normal data plan or Wi-Fi. Check My eSIMs when you need more travel data.
What if my plan has expired?
An empty data allowance and a plan’s end date are different. Green Zone is designed to support recovery after either, while the eSIM remains active and has network coverage and Green Zone access. Keep your eSIM installed and check its status in My eSIMs.
Will this work on every Horizon eSIM and in every country?
Green Zone is for eligible Horizon eSIMs and is not included with our Kosovo-only eSIMs. You also need mobile coverage and a country where ChatGPT is available. Check your plan and OpenAI’s supported-country list before travelling.
