Terms of service

Terms of service

LAST UPDATED · 26 JUN 2026READ TIME · 7 MINVERSION · 1.0

These terms are the agreement between you and Horizon when you use our site or buy an eSIM plan. We've kept them plain and short. The gist: we sell prepaid, data-only travel eSIMs that run on local carrier networks, payment is handled by Paysera, and your refund and delivery rights live on their own pages that these terms link to.

01

Accepting these terms

When you use this site or buy a plan, you're agreeing to these terms. If you don't agree with them, please don't use the service.

Horizon eSIM is operated by Horizon SH.P.K., a company registered in Pristina, Kosovo (VAT number XK-0000000), with its registered address at Rr. Nëna Terezë 12, 10000 Pristina, Kosovo. Where these terms say "we", "us" or "Horizon", that's the company we mean.

These terms work together with our Refund Policy and our Shipping & Delivery policy, which are part of the same agreement.

02

What we provide

We sell prepaid, data-only travel eSIM plans for more than 110 countries. The plans install from a QR code, are hotspot-friendly, and can usually be topped up.

Horizon is a reseller of mobile data, not a mobile network operator. Your plan runs on local carrier networks sourced from upstream connectivity providers, so coverage, speeds and the specific networks available depend on those carriers in each country.

Because we don't run the networks ourselves, we can't guarantee a particular speed or that a particular carrier will be available everywhere within a country.

03

Eligibility and your account

To buy from us you need to be old enough to enter a contract where you live (the age of majority) and have the legal capacity to do so. If you're buying for someone else, you're responsible for the order.

Please give accurate details at checkout, especially the email address — that's where we deliver your eSIM. You're responsible for keeping your account login safe and for activity that happens under it.

Keep it to one account per person for normal personal use. We may limit or close accounts we reasonably believe are duplicated or used to abuse the service.

04

Orders, pricing and payment

Prices are shown on each plan page in the stated currency. The price you see at checkout is the price you pay for that plan.

Payment is processed by our payment provider, Paysera, using the payment methods offered at checkout. We don't store your full card details.

We may decline or cancel an order if it looks fraudulent, breaks these terms, or can't be fulfilled. If a price is shown wrong because of an obvious error, we may cancel the affected order and refund you rather than honour a clearly mistaken price — we'll let you know if that happens.

05

Delivery and activation

eSIMs are digital and delivered instantly. As soon as your payment succeeds, your plan and its QR code appear in your account and are sent to your email.

To use a plan, your device must support eSIM and be carrier-unlocked. Please check compatibility on the plan page before you buy.

Full details of how delivery works are on our Shipping & Delivery page (/legal/shipping), which forms part of these terms.

06

Refunds and cancellations

In short: if you haven't installed an eSIM, you can request a full refund within 7 days of purchase. Once data has been used or the validity has expired, the plan is non-refundable. These are our commercial terms; they don't affect any statutory right of withdrawal you may have as an EU consumer, which the Refund Policy explains.

That's only a summary. Our full Refund Policy (/legal/refunds) sets out exactly when refunds apply, how to ask, and how they're processed — and that policy governs.

07

Acceptable use

Use your plan for normal personal connectivity and follow the local laws of the country where you're using it.

Don't use the service for anything illegal or fraudulent, don't resell or share access in ways that abuse it, and don't try to get around the fair-use limits or throttling that apply to a plan.

Don't use the data to send spam or to attack, disrupt or abuse other people, networks or systems. Misuse can lead us to suspend or cancel the plan.

08

Networks and third-party providers

Your service depends on local carriers and the upstream providers we buy capacity from. We rely on them to deliver coverage and speed in each country.

Coverage maps, speed indications and listed networks are best-effort information, not a guarantee. Real-world performance varies with location, device, congestion and the carrier's own network.

Fair-use limits and throttling may apply depending on the plan — the plan page tells you what to expect.

09

Intellectual property

The content on this site — text, design, the Horizon name and logos — belongs to us or our licensors and is protected by law.

You're welcome to use the site for your own personal, non-commercial use. You can't copy, scrape, republish or use our content or brand for anything else without our written permission.

10

Disclaimers and availability

The service is provided "as is". We work hard to keep it reliable, but we can't promise coverage will always be uninterrupted or that every plan will work flawlessly on every device and network.

An eSIM is not a substitute for a reliable emergency-call service. Don't rely on it as your only way to reach emergency services.

We may occasionally take the site or systems down for maintenance or updates, and we'll try to keep any disruption short.

11

Limitation of liability

If something goes wrong with a plan and it's our fault, the most we'll be liable for is the amount you paid for the affected plan.

We're not liable for indirect or consequential losses — things like missed bookings, lost income or lost data that follow on from a connectivity problem.

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud or gross negligence, where the law doesn't allow such liability to be limited. None of this limits any other rights you have under mandatory consumer law that can't be excluded — those rights always stand.

12

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or close your account, or stop a plan, if you breach these terms or use the service abusively or fraudulently.

If we have to do that because of misuse, any plans you've already used may be lost without a refund. Where a closure isn't your fault, your refund rights under the Refund Policy still apply.

13

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time as the service changes. When we make a material change, we'll communicate it — for example by note on this page or by email.

Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms. The "last updated" date at the top of this page tells you which version is in force.

14

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of Kosovo. If a dispute can't be sorted out between us, it's subject to the courts of Pristina, Kosovo.

This doesn't take away any mandatory consumer protections you have under the law of Kosovo or the EU — including the right to bring a claim where you live, where local law allows it.

If you're a consumer, you may also be able to use any alternative dispute-resolution body available to you under local law.
