A single route can string together a capital, a coastal stretch, a mountain pass and a village address off a side road, and every one of those stops has to appear on that list before you count on it.

Install the eSIM on suitable Wi-Fi before the drive or flight, then use the selected package's instructions to decide when to activate it. Set Horizon for mobile data and switch on data roaming for that line. After an overland border, wait for registration on an available local network; if it hesitates, check automatic network selection and restart the phone. Treat the route as a list of stops rather than a single regional label, and mark any stop you could not find in the package details so you can arrange it another way before departure.

Por qué Horizon
For a family visit with side trips or a drive linking several included destinations, a regional package can be easier to manage than installing profiles repeatedly. Keep route updates, accommodation details and messages on the travel-data line while preserving the home SIM separately where the device supports two lines. If most of the visit is in one destination, compare its dedicated plan; hotspot availability and other plan rules must be checked on the exact offer selected. The practical appeal is that a single allowance and a single validity period follow the destinations the package's own list names, instead of a separate profile and a separate expiry date for every country on the itinerary.

Read the destination list attached to the specific package before purchase. Regional offers can use different combinations, and the Balkans label alone does not define inclusion. Check every family address, overnight stop and transit point where you plan to use data. A neighbouring country is not included by association: if it is not printed on the list, treat it as outside the package even when the rest of the route is covered.
It can suit a route whose planned stops all appear in the selected package. Keep the profile installed at included destinations and allow time for a network handoff after each border. For any stop missing from that package, compare a separate destination plan before departure. Count the transit legs as well as the nights: a country crossed between breakfast and lunch still needs to be on the list if you want maps and messages on that stretch.
Install with suitable Wi-Fi before leaving, but do not assume installation always starts the plan. Read the selected package to learn its activation trigger and validity period. If its clock starts on activation, switching it on too early may use travel days before arrival.
Leave the eSIM installed and let the device search automatically for an available local network at an included destination. If registration takes longer, verify that Horizon remains selected for data and that roaming is enabled on that line, then restart before choosing a network manually. Allow a few minutes past the barrier before deciding something is wrong, since the network name in the status bar usually changes first. If nothing appears at all, reopen the package details and confirm that the country you have just entered is on its destination list.
If the phone supports two active lines, you may keep the home SIM for calls and messages while selecting Horizon for mobile data. The home operator may charge for roaming activity. Disable mobile data and data roaming on the home line to reduce accidental use.
