Your phone must support eSIM and be carrier-unlocked. Support can vary by model, sales region and carrier, so use the compatibility checker and look for an EID in your phone's settings before purchase.

Is it really the same data?
Each row compares plans with the same advertised data allowance and the same 30-day validity. Networks, coverage details and plan terms can differ between providers, so check the plan details on both sites.
When does a Horizon plan start?
Install your eSIM over Wi-Fi before you leave. Validity does not start until your eSIM first connects to a supported mobile network at your destination.
Can I keep my Airalo eSIM installed?
Many eSIM phones can store more than one eSIM, and you choose which line uses mobile data. Check the eSIM section of your phone's settings to see how many it can hold.
Can I keep my phone number and WhatsApp?
You can keep your existing WhatsApp number and use Horizon for mobile data. Calls and SMS on your original number need your usual SIM or eSIM to remain enabled on a compatible dual-SIM phone. Your usual carrier’s roaming charges may still apply to that line.
What if Horizon doesn't work out for me?

Who is Horizon?
Horizon eSIM sells prepaid, data-only travel eSIM plans at horizonesim.com. It is the consumer brand of LuShen L.L.C., which runs the store, delivery and support. There is no subscription: you pay once for each plan.
How we checked the prices
On 25 September 2026 we opened each Airalo product page linked below, selected Fixed data and recorded the euro price for 5 GB and for 10 GB with 30 days of validity. The same day we recorded Horizon's regular price for the same data and validity on horizonesim.com. No sale label was shown on the Airalo plans, and no Horizon promotion was active.
We compared advertised data, validity and price. Coverage, networks and plan terms can differ between providers, so check the details on both sites. Coupons, subscriptions, first-order discounts and rewards are excluded.
