Pick a destination, data allowance and validity period.

Match a South Korea eSIM to the full route, then compare data, validity, listed territory, device support, tethering and checkout total. Allow for Incheon, Seoul, Busan and Jeju stages rather than choosing from the arrival airport alone.
A South Korea trip may begin in either Incheon terminal, continue by airport rail, bus or taxi, and require a precise subway exit or separate station transfer. Data can assist with live transport, payments, bookings and accommodation messages where service is available, but underground sections, KTX tunnels, mountains, coast and rural Jeju can interrupt reception. Keep the next route, ticket record and exact address offline before every handoff.

Before departure, verify the unlocked handset supports eSIM and read this product's validity trigger. Set up the profile on stable Wi-Fi, but retain both its QR or manual code and the first Incheon-to-Seoul route somewhere independent of the phone. After confirming Terminal 1 or Terminal 2, assign data to the South Korea profile and keep roaming and data switching off on the primary line unless intentionally needed.

Data activates on first connection at your destination.
In total, a 5 GB data allowance covers roughly 1,700 shared photos, 83 hours of social media and browsing, 15 hours of video calls, 63 hours of music streaming, or about 1000 hours of maps and navigation. Messaging apps barely use data.
Important cities in South Korea
Incheon–Seoul · City guide
Incheon Airport has separate Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 transport areas, so begin with the terminal on the current flight record. AREX access, airport buses and taxi pickup each have their own signs and destination logic; an inter-terminal shuttle is not transport into Seoul. Check the current platform, stop or rank and the final city interchange where service is available. Keep the terminal map, selected ticket, Seoul exit and accommodation address offline before entering the basement transport centre.
Incheon–Seoul eSIM — set up before you fly →Seoul · City guide
In Seoul, the station name alone may not settle the final walk: large interchanges have many numbered exits and the accommodation can sit on the opposite side of a major road. Confirm the line, direction, fare or payment method, transfer and exit number as separate details, then retain the booking and next route offline. Mobile data can help update a journey or translate an address where reception exists, but deep stations, crowded platforms and tunnels can interrupt access just when a digital reference is needed.
Seoul eSIM — set up before you fly →Busan · City guide
Busan has two different arrival patterns. A KTX passenger starts at the railway station and continues by metro, bus or taxi, while a Gimhae Airport passenger follows current signs from the actual domestic or international terminal to Airport Station for light rail before making a local connection. Confirm which arrival applies, the transfer station, payment or ticket and final property entrance. KTX tunnels, underground sections and coastal terrain can interrupt reception, so keep the entire station-to-hotel route and return booking offline.
Busan eSIM — set up before you fly →Jeju · City guide
A Jeju itinerary has several handoffs: the domestic flight, airport bus or rental-car collection, accommodation entrance, then a coastal site or trail meeting point and the return. Confirm operating details and access rules for each stage rather than treating the island as one connected city. Reception can vary on rural roads, mountain routes, trails and exposed coast. Download the complete drive or bus path, lodging instructions, booking references and an independent safety plan; mobile data is not an emergency or trail-navigation assurance.
Jeju eSIM — set up before you fly →Why Horizon
Plan the allowance around airport transfers, subway and KTX days, digital bookings and Jeju transport. Check the exact product for calls, SMS, tethering, supported devices and start conditions. A South Korea-only listing does not establish service in Japan, China, Taiwan, Hong Kong or aboard an international ferry; a regional itinerary is eligible only where each country or territory appears in the included list.
Compare the listed data allowances and validity periods for your destination.
Install over reliable Wi-Fi before departure and follow the plan's activation instructions.
Review the current price, data, validity, coverage and fair-use terms before checkout.

Start with the route: Incheon terminal, Seoul transport, any KTX segment, Busan arrival and Jeju days. Then compare the amount of data, validity, included territory, device list, hotspot terms and final total. Identify the validity trigger, support channel and whether a phone number or SMS exists. A city-focused allowance may not suit a long island stay, frequent digital bookings or video use.
Complete device checks and profile installation before the flight while stable Wi-Fi is available, but use the product's own start condition to decide when to activate it. Keep the QR or manual code apart from the handset and save both Incheon terminal maps plus the chosen AREX, bus or taxi instruction. At T1 or T2, select the South Korea profile for data only after following its setup steps, with primary-line switching kept deliberate.
No. First confirm whether the flight uses Terminal 1 or Terminal 2. Inter-terminal transport moves between airport facilities, while Seoul requires a separate choice such as AREX, an airport bus or a taxi matched to the final district and address. Follow current airport signs for the correct transport centre, platform, stop or rank, and store the selected ticket, interchange and numbered subway exit offline.
The checkout details decide. A data-only Korea option can carry app messages or calls through its allowance yet supply neither a Korean number nor ordinary text messages; hotspot permission also varies by product and phone. Test the account used for an Incheon pickup or Jeju rental before travel. Store written hotel, driver and tour contacts because an app call, voice feature or shared connection cannot be assumed from the destination name.
South Korea-only territory does not establish mobile service in Japan, China, Taiwan, Hong Kong or at sea. A ferry booking, cruise segment or short flight does not expand the included area, and reception on a Korean island or coastline cannot be inferred from Seoul. For a regional product, match every country and territory to its published inclusion list and download port, crossing and arrival instructions before departure.
At an airport Wi-Fi point or Seoul accommodation, first confirm that the South Korea profile holds the mobile-data assignment and that the home line has not taken it back. Compare activation, data-roaming, APN and permitted network-selection settings with this product's guide; leave the eSIM installed. If access still fails before a subway, KTX or Jeju leg, give support the order reference, handset model, terminal or exact stop and screenshots, then rely on the saved exit, ticket and onward route.
