Coverage is strong in city centres and on the main islands, where most travellers spend their time. It becomes more variable on ferry crossings, on smaller boats, and around remote bays, so it is wise to download offline maps before heading out across the water.

On the ground and in port towns, your data works as normal for booking tickets and checking schedules. While actually airborne or far from shore on a ferry, signal naturally drops, just as it would with any local SIM, so plan your routes and download what you need before you depart.

This is a Philippines-only plan, so it covers data within the Philippines. If your trip crosses into other countries in Southeast Asia, choose a regional eSIM instead so you stay connected across each border without buying a separate plan for every stop.
