Use a Rwanda eSIM for Kigali appointments, a Musanze stay with a separate Kinigi meeting point, or a Lake Kivu stage based in the town on your reservation.
Kigali spreads across hills and valleys, and a meeting in the business area around Nyarugenge is not the same address as an appointment in the administrative area of Kacyiru. Around Musanze, the town hotel, Kinigi park headquarters and nearby lodging also need separate pins. On Lake Kivu, specify Rubavu or Karongi instead of saving one generic lake marker; Rusizi is farther south.

Is Musanze the same as my park meeting point?
Not necessarily. Musanze is the town, while Kinigi has the park headquarters and nearby lodging.
Which Lake Kivu town should I save?
Save the town on the accommodation or transfer reservation. Rubavu or Gisenyi is in the north, Karongi farther along the shore and Rusizi in the south. Add the exact entrance and next collection point rather than relying on one lake marker.
How should I plan data for meetings plus an outdoor stay?
Kigali meeting days may use messages, attachments, maps and internet calls. A Musanze, Kinigi or Lake Kivu stage adds organiser updates and intended media uploads, but a destination listing does not promise service at every outdoor point. Compare one allowance for all phone and hotspot tasks across the full validity period.
Does a Rwanda plan cover a neighbouring country?
A Rwanda country plan covers Rwanda, not another country by proximity or by a trail name. Rwanda is outside Horizon’s current Africa regional package. If a confirmed route crosses a border, check that next country explicitly in the selected product before travel.
Can I keep my number and use a free hotspot?
The Rwanda eSIM is data-only and includes no local number. On a compatible dual-SIM phone, keep the home line for its number while Horizon handles data; the home provider may charge for its use. Hotspot is free and not throttled by Horizon, and every connected device shares the plan allowance.
When does the Rwanda plan’s validity begin?
