Rwanda: two matched 30-day allowances

Plan the Kigali arrival first
Keep the first accommodation address, pickup arrangement and host's contact on the phone before travelling. In Kigali, mobile data can help with meeting changes and finding the right entrance, while a saved copy protects the first journey from a setup delay.
For Musanze, save the activity operator's meeting instructions and contact before setting out. A booking confirmation is more useful offline than a vague expectation that you can retrieve it on arrival. For a Lake Kivu stay, keep the accommodation pin and transfer details together so you can share the correct destination.

Compare a travel eSIM with a local option
Preparing a travel eSIM on an unlocked, compatible phone can simplify arrival. Your usual SIM can remain installed where the device supports that setup, but check its operator's charges before using calls, texts or roaming abroad. Internet access and a Rwandan telephone number are different products.
For a longer visit or local calling needs, verify local operators' visitor eligibility, registration and package terms. A travel data allowance should not be assumed to unlock local-number or payment services.
Horizon includes free hotspot sharing. If a laptop will use the connection, account for cloud sync and updates alongside your phone use. The shared devices consume the same purchased allowance.
An onward country needs its own coverage
Horizon’s current Africa regional selection excludes Rwanda and Uganda. Check a regional competitor's exact country list, or compare separately purchased country packages.
