Choose Guam eSIM data for the airport transfer to Tumon, appointments in Hagåtña or time with family in the island's villages. Check validity as carefully as the allowance, particularly if arrival and departure fall on different local calendar days from your flights at home.
Guam is a US territory in the western Pacific, but a United States plan label alone does not establish Guam coverage. The airport and Tumon accommodation area are close to the island's main commercial districts, while southern villages, forested hills and coastal roads give a different setting for mobile use. A family stay, a work visit and a beach-based trip may follow the same roads but use very different amounts of data. Choose for those tasks and keep your first address offline before the final flight.

Confirm that the phone is unlocked and supports eSIM, then install over Wi-Fi before leaving. Save the pickup instructions for Antonio B. Won Pat International Airport and the actual hotel or family address. In Guam, set Horizon as the mobile-data line and turn on data roaming for it; disable automatic switching to the home line's data. Installing the profile does not start the validity period; it starts when the eSIM first connects to a supported network in Guam. The service is data-only, with indoor reception, terrain and local network conditions affecting use.

Pick the profile closest to your trip. The estimate assumes normal use — maps, messaging, photos, a short call home.
As a rule of thumb, a 3–4 day city break runs on about 1–3 GB, a one-week trip on 3–5 GB, a two-week multi-country tour on 8–12 GB, and working on the road takes about 1 GB a day, so 15 GB or more for two weeks.
In total, a 1 GB data allowance covers roughly 330 shared photos, 17 hours of social media and browsing, 2.9 hours of video calls, 13 hours of music streaming, or about 200 hours of maps and navigation. Messaging apps barely use data.
Hagåtña · City guide
Hagåtña is Guam's capital, distinct from the Tumon hotel area. The Plaza de España and the Dulce Nombre de Maria Cathedral-Basilica help orient a visit, but an appointment may need a separate office entrance. Save the address you are actually using and the return pickup point so a short stop does not depend on searching for directions after arrival.
Hagåtña eSIM — set up before you flyTumon · City guide
Tumon Bay is lined with hotels and visitor services, so a meeting described only as Tumon can still leave people at different entrances. Keep the property name and lobby or pickup location together. Mobile data can help coordinate a group when a connection is available, but hotel interiors and a busy event can affect the service at a particular spot.
Tumon eSIM — set up before you flyTamuning · City guide
Tamuning contains commercial and residential areas near the airport and Tumon. A shop, clinic appointment or family home may sit away from the obvious hotel frontage. Ask for the precise location before setting off, and save the relevant documents on the handset instead of relying on retrieving a booking from an online account at the door.
Tamuning eSIM — set up before you flySouthern Guam · City guide
Southern Guam is an area, not another city. A drive through Inalåhan or Merizo can take in family visits and coastal stops beyond the northern hotel districts. Download the route and arrange the day's meeting points before leaving; hills, vegetation and quieter coastal sections may change reception, even though you remain on the same island.
Southern Guam eSIM — set up before you flyWhy Horizon
A larger allowance does not necessarily come with a longer validity period. Compare both values in the live offer, then count your Guam dates, including family visits or work days after a hotel stay. Horizon includes free personal hotspot sharing on a compatible phone during your Guam stay, so a travelling companion or laptop draws from the same allowance. Horizon fixed-data plans have no throttling. If the route adds Saipan, Japan or the Philippines, arrange separate listed coverage for those destinations rather than extending a Guam plan by geography or political association.

No. Check whether Guam is explicitly listed in the offer. Its status as a US territory does not establish inclusion in every US-labelled plan, and a Guam country plan does not add the mainland United States to its destination coverage.
Saipan is in the Northern Mariana Islands, a separate destination from Guam for this coverage decision. Check it explicitly in a broader offer or arrange a separate plan before a journey that includes both places.
Read the validity as well as the data amount. Different offers can give different numbers of days, so check your local arrival and departure dates against the specific plan instead of assuming the larger allowance lasts longer.
Save the accommodation address, reservation and confirmed pickup arrangements before your final flight. Use the Guam local date from the booking when coordinating with family or a driver, and retain the setup instructions without needing an arrival connection.
Horizon includes free personal hotspot sharing for laptop work in Tumon on compatible devices. Count laptop transfers and automatic updates in the allowance, and check the actual connection at the hotel before scheduling work that requires uninterrupted access.
It can change as the road leaves built-up districts for hills and quieter coast. Save navigation and meeting points for Inalåhan or Merizo in advance; a successful data session at a Tumon hotel does not establish reception at a later stop.
Check official weather alerts, local instructions and your transport operator's updates before travel. Severe weather can interrupt power, transport and networks, so keep accommodation details and revised bookings offline and follow the arrangements made by your host.
No. Horizon fixed-data plans have no throttling. There is no daily limit that slows you down, so you can use your whole plan in one day if you need to. Your speed depends on the local network, your signal and how busy the network is. When your data allowance is used up, the plan stops rather than slowing down.
