On 25 September 2026, Airalo and Saily were almost level on USA prices. At 5 GB, 10 GB and 20 GB for 30 days, Saily listed one cent less than Airalo, so choosing between the two barely changes the bill.
The real gap is between them and Horizon. On every plan compared here, Horizon's price was the lowest of the three: 10 GB for 30 days cost €10.37 at Horizon, against €20.50 at Airalo and €20.49 at Saily. Horizon wrote this comparison and sells travel eSIMs.

Validity differs in three rows. Airalo's 1 GB plan lasts 3 days, against 7 days at Horizon and Saily. Airalo listed no 30-day 3 GB plan; its 7-day 3 GB plan cost €8.50. Horizon's 20 GB plan lasts 90 days, against 30 days at Airalo and Saily.
What the difference adds up to
The gap grows with the plan size. Here is how much less Horizon listed for each plan:
- 1 GB: €2.80 less than Airalo, whose 1 GB plan lasts 3 days instead of 7, and €2.29 less than Saily.
- 3 GB for 30 days: €5.27 less than Airalo's 7-day 3 GB plan, and €4.76 less than Saily.
- 5 GB for 30 days: €7.23 less than Airalo and €7.22 less than Saily.
- 10 GB for 30 days: €10.13 less than Airalo and €10.12 less than Saily.
- 20 GB: €12.44 less than Airalo and €12.43 less than Saily, with 90 days of validity instead of 30.
Take a couple on a two-week trip, each with 10 GB for 30 days. Their two plans came to €20.74 at Horizon, €41.00 at Airalo and €40.98 at Saily. That is €20.26 less than Airalo and €20.24 less than Saily for the same data and validity.
Short trips: Horizon vs Airalo on 7-day plans
Saily listed no fixed-data 7-day plan above 1 GB for the USA; its 3 GB to 20 GB plans all last 30 days. So this table compares Horizon with Airalo only.
If your dates might stretch, Horizon's 30-day 3 GB and 5 GB plans (€3.23 and €5.27) cost no more than its 7-day ones.
Road trips and laptops: 20 GB for 90 days
A US road trip uses more data than a city break. Navigation runs for hours instead of in short bursts, and a laptop on the phone's hotspot adds to the total. Over two weeks, that kind of trip can reach 20 GB or more.
For that trip, compare the 20 GB plans. Horizon's 20 GB plan cost €20.56 for 90 days, against €33.00 at Airalo and €32.99 at Saily for 30 days.
The plans are not identical. Horizon's is one 20 GB allowance valid for 90 days, not 20 GB each month. On a trip shorter than 30 days, you will not need the extra validity, so the price gap is what counts.
Hotspot sharing is free on every Horizon plan. A laptop on the hotspot uses the same 20 GB, so let system updates and cloud backups wait for motel Wi-Fi.
How much data do you need?
Horizon's USA data guide puts a light week of walking one city near 3 GB and an ordinary week of maps, messages and photos at 5 to 8 GB. A driving week, or a laptop on the hotspot, needs 12 GB or more. Over two weeks, ordinary use lands between 10 and 15 GB.

Are the Horizon prices here a promotion?
No. They are Horizon's regular public prices on 25 September 2026, and no promotion was active on the plans quoted.
Can I keep my phone number and WhatsApp?
You can keep your existing WhatsApp number and use Horizon for mobile data. Calls and SMS on your original number need your usual SIM or eSIM to remain enabled on a compatible dual-SIM phone. Your usual carrier’s roaming charges may still apply to that line.
