Which destinations does the Middle East eSIM include?
Horizon's Middle East eSIM currently covers seven destinations: Egypt, Israel, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and Turkey. Regional names are defined differently across products, so the live destination list for the exact package on this page is the authority — check each planned stop there before purchase.
Can I use it for a Jordan–Egypt or Gulf itinerary?
Egypt is included, but Jordan needs a separate plan with this seven-country package. For Gulf stops, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar and Saudi Arabia are included; Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates are excluded. If you already bought an older package, check that purchased package's coverage in My eSIMs: its original Jordan coverage is retained.
How should I prepare the eSIM before travel?
Save the QR details and install the Middle East eSIM on dependable Wi-Fi before going to the airport; there is no separate manual activation step. Keep the travel line off on the way. After landing in one of the seven included destinations, choose Horizon for mobile data and switch on roaming for it. Hotspot sharing is free on every Horizon plan. Data-based communication apps also depend on local service rules and app availability, so review the plan and destination requirements without assuming access to any particular app.
Will the eSIM work the same outside major cities?
Local availability can vary across desert roads, mountains, border areas and sparsely populated routes. Keep offline maps, accommodation details and essential contacts available before leaving a populated area, then retry connection where a partner signal exists.
