Horizon's Europe + UK eSIM covers thirty-three destinations: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Ukraine and the United Kingdom.

No such meaning should be inferred from the product name. It is neither a map of all European states nor a statement about EU roaming. The selected package's destination list defines where that plan may be used, so review it against your complete itinerary. Read that list as a list of names rather than as a map: geography, European Union membership or a shared travel area do not place a country inside a package. If a stop is missing, a country plan for that leg, or a different regional package, is the honest fix.

Keep the profile installed and allow the phone time to register on an available local network at a destination included in your package. If the handoff pauses, confirm data roaming on the Horizon line, leave network selection on automatic and restart the device before changing settings manually. A short trip into flight mode and back can also prompt a fresh search. If nothing registers at all, read the package list again: at a stop that is not on it, no amount of settings work will help, and a local option or a second plan is the answer.

Set up the Europe eSIM on Wi-Fi before the rail or road trip; there is no separate manual activation step. Keep it off until the first of the thirty-three included destinations, then choose Horizon for mobile data and enable roaming on that line. The first successful connection to a supported local network activates the package and begins the validity period chosen at checkout. Leave the profile installed at later borders and make sure that period covers the full route.

The travel eSIM is intended for mobile data. On a compatible dual-line phone, your home SIM may remain available for calls and texts while Horizon is selected for data. Your home operator may charge for those services, so disable data and data roaming on the home line. Whether two lines can be active at once depends on the exact model and its sales region, so check the phone's settings before you rely on it. Naming the lines in settings, one for data and one for calls, makes it obvious later which one an app is using.

Choose the regional eSIM when the route includes two or more covered countries: one profile stays installed and follows the supported local-network handoff after each border. For a trip based mainly in one country, compare that country's plan. Near borders, keep Horizon selected for mobile data and disable data roaming plus automatic data switching on the home line. If that line uses a foreign network, the home operator may charge for it.
