One regional data plan for the destinations listed in its coverage details.
There is no deadline for first use. You can buy now and keep your plan for a future trip.
Keep one travel data plan for the covered countries on a route across continents. World includes Kosovo, Japan, the United States and many other destinations, but excludes Armenia and Bangladesh. Match the full itinerary to the selected plan's destination list before buying.
A round-the-world ticket can put a train journey in Europe, a stopover in Singapore and a stay in Australia on the same itinerary. A sequence of work or family visits can do the same without a round-the-world booking. Horizon's World eSIM lets you use one installed profile and the plan's data allowance across its listed destinations, rather than setting up a country plan at every arrival. Covered examples include the United Kingdom, France, Kosovo, the United States, Brazil, South Africa, India, Japan, Singapore, Australia and New Zealand. World is the product's name, not a claim to cover every country: Armenia and Bangladesh are outside this plan, as is every destination absent from its list. Read the full coverage list beside the selected offer, including transit countries and territories, before matching its validity to the journey.
Refund policy
We always refund the full amount you paid when you request it, whether your eSIM is unused, partly used or fully used. There is no time limit for requesting a refund.
No first-use deadline
Validity does not start until your eSIM connects to a supported network at your destination. There is no deadline for first use. You can buy now and keep your plan for a future trip.

Check that your phone supports eSIM and is carrier-unlocked, then install the profile over Wi-Fi before departure. Keep the line off until you want to begin using the plan. Installing the profile does not start the validity period; it starts when the eSIM first connects to a supported network in Japan. The same rule applies in every other covered country, including your home country or an airport stopover if either is listed. When you need data, switch the Horizon line on, select it for mobile data and enable data roaming on that line; there is no separate manual activation step. Its first successful connection begins the purchased validity period. Keep the profile installed at later destinations and allow the phone time to register on a supported local network. Disable automatic data switching to the home SIM, and save the next address and onward ticket offline before each flight or border crossing.

Scan the QR or auto-install in the app — no physical SIM.
Data activates on first connection at your destination.
Pick the profile closest to your trip. The estimate assumes normal use — maps, messaging, photos, a short call home.
As a rule of thumb, a 3–4 day city break runs on about 1–3 GB, a one-week trip on 3–5 GB, a two-week multi-country tour on 8–12 GB, and working on the road takes about 1 GB a day, so 15 GB or more for two weeks.
In total, a 51.2 GB data allowance covers roughly 17,100 shared photos, 853 hours of social media and browsing, 151 hours of video calls, 640 hours of music streaming, or about 10240 hours of maps and navigation. Messaging apps barely use data.

Why Horizon
The useful part of a World plan is continuity of setup: the data line you used for an arrival message in London can also handle a rail booking in Japan or directions in New Zealand while the plan has data and remains valid. You track one allowance across the covered stops instead of managing a different purchase for each country. Count the whole journey from the first supported connection, including days in transit; moving to another country does not restart the plan. If the trip stays in one destination, compare that country's plan. If it stays within a smaller region, compare the regional option against the same itinerary, data needs and travel dates. Horizon fixed-data plans have no throttling. Actual service still depends on the device, location and available partner network; keep essential travel details accessible offline.
Plan for
World
Compare the listed data allowances and validity periods for your destination.
Install over reliable Wi-Fi before departure and follow the plan's activation instructions.
Review the current price, data, validity and coverage before checkout. Horizon fixed-data plans have no throttling.
When the selected plan supports reuse or top-ups, My eSIMs shows the eligible options for the installed profile.
We'll alert you as you approach your limit. If the plan supports a top-up, My eSIMs shows the eligible options.
Choose country, regional or global coverage and check every destination in the plan details.
Kosovo is included in Horizon's World plan. The name World does not mean every country is covered: Armenia and Bangladesh are excluded, and so is any country or territory missing from the selected plan's coverage list. Check that list for the outward route, the return route and any stopovers where you want mobile data. A neighbouring country being included gives no coverage entitlement across its border. The full list shown with the offer is the place to check destinations beyond the examples on this page.
Yes, when each destination is listed and the plan still has data and validity. For example, the United Kingdom, Japan, Singapore, Australia and New Zealand are included, so a journey through those countries can use the same installed profile. Changing countries does not replenish the allowance or give you a new validity period. Include flight days and longer stopovers when choosing the duration, and download bookings before leaving each place because network registration at the next arrival may take time.
Yes. A covered home country or transit country counts just like the main destination. Installing the profile does not start the validity period; it starts when the eSIM first connects to a supported network in Japan. This rule also applies at any other covered stop. Leave the Horizon line off if you want to save the plan for a later leg, then switch it on, select it for data and enable data roaming when needed. There is no separate manual activation step. Once the first successful connection has occurred, turning the line off between flights does not pause or reset the validity period.
Start with the places where you need data. A country plan suits a stay focused on that country; a regional plan can suit a cluster of covered neighbours. World becomes useful when the route reaches beyond that cluster, such as a family visit in Kosovo followed by time in Japan and Canada, which are all included. Compare the available allowances and durations for the entire itinerary. A broader name does not make an offer the right choice if a smaller plan already covers every stop you need.
Use it for supported land networks at included destinations, such as the United States, the Bahamas or Barbados. It does not provide the ship's Wi-Fi or maritime connectivity between ports, and a country's inclusion does not promise reception on every remote island, mountain road or stretch of coastline. Save shore meeting points and the ship's return time before disembarking. Use airplane mode at sea and enable Wi-Fi separately if you have arranged the ship's Wi-Fi service. For a route through an excluded country, arrange a separate data option before arrival.
The World eSIM is data-only, with no phone number, ordinary calls or SMS included. Messaging and internet-calling apps use its data where those services are available. On a compatible phone, your usual SIM can remain available for its own services under your home operator's terms; that operator may charge for roaming activity. Hotspot sharing is free on every Horizon plan. A compatible device and correct settings are needed, and a connected laptop or tablet uses the same plan data, so include uploads and video meetings when choosing the allowance.
No. Horizon fixed-data plans have no throttling. There is no daily limit that slows you down, so you can use your whole plan in one day if you need to. Your speed depends on the local network, your signal and how busy the network is. When your data allowance is used up, the plan stops rather than slowing down.
Yes. We always refund the full amount you paid when you request it, whether your eSIM is unused, partly used or fully used. There is no time limit for requesting a refund.
